i didn't think tdk was that disturbing, but i guess we all have our different tolerance levels of darkness so as long as we agree that the film was fine the way it was, we're good tbh

I honestly wouldnt have changed anything about the movie. Its fine the way it is. There were just elements that I personally felt were to dark for my liking. There was nothing in any of the lotr films that came close to the level of disturbing that TDK produced.

i agree with zhadow here and i actually don't think the dark knight is really that dark? i mean yes it's dark but it's a realistic dark and not overbearing like uh the later dc films excluding wonder woman bless gal gadot's soul!!
if you can handle the two towers and return of the king in lotr, then you're good for the dark knight trilogy, and i mean any film in that trilogy. to me, the level of darkness in both series is equal to each other, even if lotr is just fantasy and batman is like. reality sorta mixed with scifi but still reality? anyway they're about the same to me in terms of darkness levels
