Hehehe I just saw people wanting a good debate
Hehehe hopefully it won't fill up my emails.
Alright. Well I believe that a Christian can go trick o treating but it shouldn't put them in hell for it. They just need to guard their hearts from the evil that comes from it. Oh great, I sound like my dad.
Well we can be set apart but there is a way to minister through it. You could simply say thank you for a piece of candy or do opposite trick o treating by handing candy or other things to the people handing out candy. The bible says to do ALL things as if you were doing it for the Lord.

It depends on how you imterpret "trick". Some say 'trick', and they mean "egg somebody's house and key their car!" Now that's mean. Other people will mean it like "hide behind a bush and scare kids as they walk by." Lots of fun, and no real harm done in the end. Usually.

If you celebrate Halloween by dressing up in a silly costume and going door to door asking for candy, I think it's perfectly fine.

Yeah. If your friend jumps off a cliff would you follow them?
Well think of it this way. Have you ever stood behind a wall and waited for ur friend to scare them?
Ok I do it but you give them just a quick start and then it's over.
That's true but sometimes it is good to scare them. What if they wanted to egg ur house?
So if you scare someone it might be for ur benefit. Or theirs. It is actually against the law to tp someone's house but police let you during homecoming. At least in ia.
Most likely.
