The Guardians Shall Rise Again Recruitment Blog

About 2 years ago, I started a roleplay called "Guardians Unite!" However, due to circumstances, it didn't go very well. However, I do want to see this roleplay take off, so I feel it deserves a do-over.

So, welcome to the recruitment page!

Here is where you will post the info I will ask for to approve you for the game. There are rules for this roleplay as you will see below. I do want to thank you for your time and consideration for this roleplay.

First off, if you read the story in the thread, we do have two characters already made. I’ll be Nigel and Rina for this game. We need five-read me 5-people for this roleplay. Each will be receiving a special power. Your character can be made to suit one of the following: water, fire, earth, air, and emotions-how people think, feel, etc(you are basically ini their emotional mind, but cannot read their minds. just read emotions).

Please: Do not ask to be a certain power. You can design your person to work well with a certain power, but please do not ask to be a certain power. You can request, but if I choose-say your water person to be an earth power person-differently, please don't be upset. I want to have a fun game for everyone to play.

Another rule for this game is that you must use complete sentences. This will be like writing a book.

This is what I want: Karen walked across the center of the pond. Tendrils of ice spread from her bare feet to cover the entire pond. She smiled as she began to skate across her creation.

"I'm the new Jack Frost!" she shouted to the stars overhead.

This is not what I want: Karen: *walks on water* *water begins to turn to ice* *smiles as she skates across pond* "I'm the new Jack Frost!"

Got it? I do have a reason for this, but I won't reveal till the end of the game.

Another point, this game will have an end. This should last till about September/October.

You do need to be online at least every other day.

There are more rules about the roleplay which I will post when we are under way. Just be aware of that.

Okay, so what do you have to turn in to be considered. Easy, first a character bio. See below:

Age: (please have your character be between 14-19.)

Looks: (pic would be nice. Words will be just as good)

Another thing: a writing sample. I want to see how well you can convey your character. So, this is what I want your writing sample to be about. Please see below:

Write a reply in response to the following scenario:

You are sitting under a tree on the edge of the woods overlooking a meadow. It's sunset. You are relaxing after a hard day of school. Suddenly, a small bolt of light streaks across the sky. You watch it, mesmerised by the unusual rainbow tail of said object. You notice that the light is headed right for you. You are running to be out of the way of contact.

Note: Your response must have you talking to a small cuddy creature that is able to talk. Creature must mention something about being lost and very tired.

Have fun, and may the odds be ever in your favor. :)

Name: Azami Fumiko-Corwin

Age: 14

Personality: Shy, soft spoken, insecure, observant, keeps her feelings bottled up

Looks: petite Japanese American girl, waist length straight black hair which she usually keeps up in a messy bun, pale skin, dark almond shaped eyes, small, rectangular glasses, comfortable but plain clothing, overall "nerdy" appearance

Bio: When Azami was 8 years old, her parents divorced and she has spent her time divided between them, spending the majority of her time at her mother's, and every other weekend and holiday with her father. This has left her very insecure and since then she has withdrawn into books and online games to cope with her stressful situation. During the middle of her 7th grade year her mother began dating David Corwin, and by the end of Azami's 2nd semester of 8th grade, she was moving into her new stepdad's house and explaining to her teachers why her last name was different on their roll-sheets. Azami greatly resents her step-father for "invading" her life, and secretly hates her mother for "betraying" her father, but she never says anything about it. Though she is quiet and withdrawn, she has become quite adept at reading body language and facial expressions. She uses her writing to help vent her feelings, but lately the stress of her family life, coupled with the scornful jeers and painful taunts of her peers make her feel like she's a pot that's about to boil over. Her frustration is only increased by her lack of power over her situation.

I'll post a writing sample later.
